The Top Museums and Attractions to Visit in Atlanta

Have you just recently moved to Atlanta? Is your understanding of the city somewhat narrow? Well, you’re in luck! Atlanta, GA has a ton of museums and other attractions where you can learn all about our history, culture, and a whole bunch of other neat things that make our city a terrific place to live. After you get yourself accustomed to your new surroundings, you should definitely take some time to check out the following museums and exhibits:

  • World of Coca-Cola – Are you a Coke fan? Then this is the perfect place for you! Stop in and learn all about the history of this well-known brand of soft drink, and try out flavors from all over the world. It’s a great place to bring the whole family to for an afternoon out of the house.
  • Children’s Museum of Atlanta – If you want to give your kids a day filled with fun, interactive activities, then head on down to the Children’s Museum of Atlanta. There are TONS of things for them to do from playing with farm equipment to launching a rocket into space.
  • Atlanta History Center – If you’d like to learn more about how Atlanta looked and felt in the past, you’ll find it here. Set on a 33-acre campus, you can explore their exhibitions, gardens, and historic houses at your own rate. It can easily give you an afternoon of learning and entertainment for the entire family.

After spending a few hours touring these places, you’ll have a much deeper appreciation for Atlanta. You’ll be a lot more acclimated to the city, and you’ll have a better connection to the rich history that has created our wonderful home.
